Please also remember to click my section on SCAM websites. These are websites who will take your money and keep on running! Stay away from them and the people who run them. Ive rated the sites by color code. Green Sites are safe, Yellow sites require some caution, and red sites are out and out scams!

Points Based Offers -
Points based Free Laptop programs are sites in which you recieve points or credits towards a laptop by reading advertisements either in your regular email box or an email box provided to you by the site.

CHPLAPTOPS - Points based Free Laptop Program started in June of this year by people scammed from the Ezlaptop scandal.  No one in the program has yet accumulated enough points to recieve a laptop from them, but from the attitudes of the owners I am convinced that they are for real.  DECEMBER SITE OF THE MONTH

3Laptops.com- Points based Free Laptop Program started very recently. Not much is known about this website as of yet. There are rumors that the site is controlled by former members of EzLaptop.  I wont call this a scam yet, but I’m not 100% convinced yet. If anyone has any further information please either e-mail it to me or post on the forums.

FreePay-
FreePay, formerly known as the Gratis network is best known for thier FreeIpod promotions which have garnered worldwide attention on many different news programs and websites.  They also host quite a few free Laptop programs. FreePay sites work by giving the people who join an offer to complete (such as a trial in Netflix) and then require the user to refer a number of people who will also complete an offer.  Once the number of people who have completed an offer for you is high enough, you recieve your prize.

FreePay Laptops- Referral based Free Laptop program run by the FreeIpod People themselves!  This is without a doubt a trustworthy site, as it has been proven that they always promptly ship thier prizes. They are currently offering free apple Ibooks, HP laptops, Toshiba laptops, Gateway Laptops, and Sony Laptops.

FreePay-Like Sites
These are sites similar to FreePay by the Gratis Network like OfferCentric

Notebooks4Free- Referral based Free Laptop program run in a similar method to the Gratis network sites.  All signs point to this being 100% legit. They currently offer Apple Ibooks, HP Pavillion laptops, Averatec laptops, or $1050 in cash!

Consumer Test Panel-Like Sites
These sites are similar to the FreePay sites in that you need to complete offers to get the laptop.  However most of these sites require that you fufill multiple offers and some do NOT require referrals. Out of the “Free” laptop programs, these tend to be the most expensive, as some of the offers involve year subscriptions to satellite tv, or to book clubs.  Unfortunately, most people can not skate by completing a lot of the cheaper offers, as most of these sites require that the user fufill at least one “platinum” offer, which tend to be quite expensive. Though its cheaper than buying a laptop, and if the services are of use to you, it could be worth it.
